Welcome To The Stacks of Evil

At LAST, I have been accepted by an accredited library institution and can begin to achieve my dream of becoming the most evil librarian supervillain of all time. Exxxcellent.

If you would like to become one of my loyal minions, please click the “subscribe to this site by email” button below the comment space, and watch for your dastardly assignments! Here in the Stacks of Evil, you can join me each week for new perfidious plots, villainous news, Wicked Vocab of the Day, and best of all, lists of delightful books to read under the covers with a flashlight after your mother has already told you to go to sleep.

And remember, NEVER dog ear any pages, or this book will be your FACE.

-The (Evil) Librarian

I’m signing up solely because you listed cute fluffy kittens as a nemesis. Let’s see some books lists. Preferably presented to us in song. Dr. Horrible has nothing on you.

  16. Pete Bain September 10, 2010 at 3:26 pm #

Could you explain why cute fluffy kittens are nemeses? Cat’s are probably one of the most evil creatures on the planet. It’s why I like them.

I agree to everything else though.

I have to sign up, in spite of the kitten nemesis angle. I don’t know how you could hate that wittle face, but I suppose the kitten backlash was probably inevitable. More book lists now, please.

Your article about the worst bodice rippers had me howling! I’ve read a lot of those years ago, and still have my copy of “A Pirate’s Love” by Johanna Lindsey. Tristan is one of the worst romantic heroes ever.

“Also, you know what I hate? Sword and sheath metaphors. That crap has gotta stop.” Count me as a minion!

Your blog is wonderful! I loved the Left-Handed Irish Test Part One especially, but you are hilarious AND have good taste in literature.
